As feeder length, load variation and renewable integration increase, voltage drop becomes a common challenge. The VR-32 Medium Voltage Step Voltage Regulator combines an oil-immersed autotransformer with an On-Load Tap Changer (OLTC) to automatically maintain feeder voltage without interrupting power supply, serving 6.6–35 kV distribution systems.

According to the product brochure, the VR-32 provides up to 1,000,000 tap-changing operations, a 20-year design service life, 55°C rated temperature rise and 12% overload capability at a 65°C temperature rise. A single-phase core structure is adopted to reduce no-load losses for continuous outdoor operation.
